Offering the latest mobile technology and security, the MC3100 streamlines business processes while remaining affordable.
Building on the success of the MC3000 family, the MC3100 series provides cost-effective solutions that are rugged enough to use anywhere within an enterprise's walls: the retail floor, warehouse, loading dock and the yard. The affordable MC3100 offers advanced computing and data capture capabilities while also being fully compatible with older models. By porting applications on the common Mobility Platform Architecture 2.0 and using existing MC3000 accessories, organizations can quickly and easily upgrade to the newest technology while maintaining their investment.
The MC3100 offers six different models, allowing businesses to mix and match devices to best meet the needs of their users and applications. Also, customers can choose from the Symbol SE950 1D laser scanner or, for more diverse scanning needs, the Symbol SE4500 1D/2D imager. An integrated RFID tag automates asset tracking, allowing enterprises to track the movement and locate MC3100 devices right out of the box. The wireless security system is FIPS 140-2 certified and meets the most stringent industry regulations. Packed with features, easily customizable and backward compatible with accessories and applications, the affordable MC3100 allows retailers, government agencies and distribution centers to take advantage of the latest technology while staying on budget.
New MC3100 configurations are also available with larger memory footprint (MC3100: 256MB RAM/512MB Flash; MC3190: 256MB RAM/1GB Flash) and support for Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6.5 Com 3. These new MC3190 configurations also provide support for the Zebra's RS507 Hands-Free Imager.
