Weighing only 2.45 oz, the CS3000 series brings a new level of mobility and accessibility to 1D scanning. The device can be used in batch mode for downloading at a later time and the CS3070 features real-time mode with a connection via Bluetooth® technology to a laptop, PDA or smartphone for uses such as route delivery or inventory management. Batch files of up to one million bar codes can easily be configured to populate order forms, spreadsheets and inventory lists. Data collection requires virtually no training as a two button interface makes scanning easy and the rubber grips make even intensive scanning comfortable. The powerful reader can scan codes from close contact to up to 45 inches away, but it can also be used in low light situations by guards or custodial staff on entry doors or other locations. Scanned items can be time and date stamped in batch mode for tracking and management. The scanners have an IP40 sealing, a 4 ft./1.2 m drop specification and the ability to survive 500 1.64 ft./0.5 m consecutive tumbles which combine to ensure dependable operation. With a 12 hour battery life in real-time mode and a 24 hour battery life in batch mode, the CS3000 series will last well beyond a single shift to provide scanning functionality to any organization looking to streamline and simplify business processes.
